Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Recruitment Specialist to manage the recruitment of subjects for clinical studies. You will play a key role in developing pre-screen procedures, evaluating potential eligibility for clinical trials, and ensuring excellent customer service for prospective patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
ResponsibilitiesManage the recruitment of subjects for study participation via methods including database review, contacting prior patients, and reaching out to patients identified by outreach or advertising.Develop and conduct pre-screen procedures using sponsor/trial specific pre-screen questionnaires to evaluate potential eligibility for a clinical trial.Build a rapport with and provide excellent customer service to prospective patients.Answer questions regarding participation in a clinical research trial, including fundamentals of informed consent and general information regarding study procedures.Enter and track subjects into the site’s clinical database, ensuring accurate contact information and basic patient demographics.Schedule subjects for on-site screening visits and collaborate with the Site Director regarding staffing needs.Evaluate necessary information from research participants, including HIPAA, Medical Chart Release Authorization, and Questionnaires, and, when applicable, medical records.Understand the protocol, including study timelines, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and study requirements.Maintain, track, and perform quality checks on various site logs, such as study subject enrollment logs, pre-screen, and screening logs.Attend community events to promote the site and advertise for studies.Track and assist in evaluating responses for individual patient outreach initiatives, including centralized advertising campaigns and local site-initiated campaigns, to assist the Site Director in determining the success and ROI of campaigns.Maintain confidentiality of patient protected health information.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with clinical trials and recruiting.Knowledge of clinical studies.Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).Experience in a call center environment.Familiarity with medical records and patient charts.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
