What you will do as a Patient Registrar:

Registers and verifies insurance and demographic information with the patient according to established guidelinesVerifies patient insurance coverage, eligibility, contract group number, effective dates and coverage, correct insurance, and billing addressInforms patients of insurance coverage co pays or self-pay policy and documents in patient account for front desk staffMonitors patient balances on patient accounts and informs patients of outstanding balances to ensure appropriate financial arrangementsResearches and facilitates patients questions and concerns according to established guidelines and proceduresMaintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standardsActively participates in creating and implementing improvementsAnswer in-coming calls from patients or internal team members to assist in patient careSchedules appointments for patients with specified clinician according to scheduling guidelines, patient’s needs, and availability of clinician

What you will need:

High school diploma or GED

Location: Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain - 2025 East River Parkway Minneapolis, MN 55414

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
