Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience with billing, financial screening, insurance verification, collections, and/or customer service.
Job Summary:
This position facilitates access to UTMB services for new and returning patients, coordinates financial arrangements including financial screening and communicates with patients, referral sources, and the treatment team regarding patient access and financial issues.

Work Schedule :
Rotating Day Shifts, Every Other Weekend, Including Holidays
• Department office is open 7 days a week, including all holidays
• Weekday work schedules are 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Weekend work schedules are 7:00am - 3:30pm
• This position’s regular work schedule includes holidays and weekend rotations (every other weekend)
• Employees may be asked to work shifts as early 6:00am or stay as late as 6:00pm, as needed
• Workdays and work schedules may change with the needs of the department, must be flexible
