Required License/Registration/Certification N/A Physical Requirements Requires periods of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting/pushing/carrying objects up to 15 pounds. Shift Positions available are 12.5 hour shifts. Three consecutive 12.5 shifts working followed by 4 days/evenings off.

Shifts available:
6:45a – 7:15p
10:45a – 11:15p
6:45p – 7:15a

Hires will be cross-trained for both Chandler, Good Samaritan and EmPATH ED Registration areas.

On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited.


Job Summary Position includes the following:
- Arriving and Updating/Registration of Emergency Department patients
-Copay/payment collection at time of service
-Customer Service


Skills / Knowledge / Abilities High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
