Patient Scheduler - PATIENT ACCESS POLSON Department, Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Polson, MT

 

The Scheduling Specialist is accountable for scheduling various types of patient appointments from simple office visits to complex procedures.  This may include coordinating schedules with multiple providers, specialized equipment, and other specialized resources. Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols.

Shift: Part- time, Variable  shift, 0.4 hours on call

Required Qualifications: 

Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience. Clerical and computer experience.  1 year - Experience in customer service or healthcare registration.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training.  Registrar, scheduler and third party payor experience.
