Patient Scheduler - ARC - Full-time - Days
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **Position Purpose:** Coordinates and schedules appointments and resources for patients and physicians for procedures and tests. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne. **What you will Do:** + Enters patient procedure and test information. + Contacts patient for pre-procedure information. + Notifies appropriate department of discrepancies for resolution. + Ensures scheduling is appropriate and ensures insurance pre-authorization and insurance information is entered. + Ensures orders are sent to the relevant department. + Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures. **Hours/Schedule:** _.9 FTE; 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period; typical shift between 8:00am -4:30pm, with a half day off each week; no weekends or holidays._ **Minimum Qualifications:** + Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistance program preferred.
