Patient Service Representative
Description • Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone • Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate • Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments • Verify patient demographics and insurance information in Allscripts • Schedule appointments and complete patient registration • Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types • Handle patient/provider correspondence • Explains polices, procedures, or services to patients • Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines Skills Project coordination, Epic Top Skills Details Project coordination,Epic Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years’ recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative EPIC preferred • Understanding of medical terminology Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
