We are looking to hire a Patient Service Representative that will support our Sleep Medicine Clinic! The outpatient clinic specializes in treating individuals with acute, chronic and recurring conditions of the respiratory system. Some of our services include asthma, lung modules, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, bronchiectasis, pulmonary hypertension, chronic respiratory failure, and more.
As a Patient Service Representative in the Sleep Medicine Clinic, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families! The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients’ administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility. You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record to update required information.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail oriented, a quick learner and has a passion for providing a high quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families. The ability to provide superior customer service while utilizing independent decision making skills will be essential in this position.
Position Details: This Full-Time position will primarily support the Boise Sleep Lab, but will occasionally work at the MHP and Garrity locations. The schedule is M-TH 7AM - 5:30 PM.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred. Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus. Medical terminology preferred.
Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
