Patient Service Specialist

Location: Eatontown, NJ

Full-Time

40 hours/weekly

 

Shift Hours: Monday & Wednesday 7am-7pm, Thursday 8am-7pm

Friday 7am-3pm

 

Pay Range: $19-21 hourly depending on experience

Responsibilities Greets patients with exceptional customer service to create a positive patient experienceAnswers phonesAbility to Multi-task in a high volume settingInsurance verification and pre-authorizationSchedules patients appointments and checks them in at arrivalCollection of co-paysDaily cash balancing and weekly banking depositsPatient intake and data entry to ensure proper billingComplete daily billing reports and work with central billing office (CBO)Communication and teamwork with clinic staff as well as all supporting departments to create an enjoyable, seamless experience Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

HS diploma or GED is requiredCustomer service experience required

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of insurance verification preferredHealthcare, Medical, Dental office administration preferred  Additional Data
