Position Title: Patient Services Coordinator (PSC)
Department: Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Preop/PACU)
Shift: 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Preferred to have flexibility with schedule and shifts)
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) is an essential member of the Preop/PACU team, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The PSC provides administrative support, facilitates communication, and ensures an exceptional patient and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient scheduling and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team. Maintain systematic and organized workflows to support clinical staff efficiently. Utilize software platforms such as Microsoft Office and EPIC OneConnect for scheduling, communication, and record management. Multitask effectively to manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and colleagues. Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support department operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a PSC, preferably with EPIC OneConnect. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Three years of relevant work experience. May substitute additional education for required experience on a one to one basis.
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
