Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements Sitting or Standing for long periods of time Shift Dayshift Job Summary The Patient Services Coordinator Senior position will work alongside the Practice Manager to ensure operations continue running as necessary for the Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic and The Kentucky Neuroscience Institute.

This position will oversee the clinic scheduler, work with the medical records team lead and assist with front desk operations and customer support issues that come up. This position will be very involved in the team leadership of the clinics and will be instrumental in project improvement activities. This position will also act as a backup to the clinical manager and clinic scheduler. Knowledge of UK HealthCare systems is helpful but not required. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities MS office, Excel, EPIC Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience with medical front office tasks such as registration, scheduling, and customer service. Leadership or supervision experience is preferred but not required.
