**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities***
+ Manage and expedite patient image/ film flow through the reading room area.
+ Work with physicians on adherence to breast imaging procedures.
+ Assign daily procedure points to radiologists.
+ Manage phone calls from internal and external customers related to procedures.
+ Creating and updating Radiologist worklist.
+ Ensure all images and appropriate comparisons are available on the reading room workstation.
+ Manage daily work queues.
+ Accurately identify and archive outside studies.
+ Identify and contact appropriate physician/ clinics for radiologist request.
+ Review reading room work list to ensure ER and inpatient exams are available.
+ Review outside reports, request and prepare images for film consult appointments.
+ Request outside images for patient's appointments.
+ prepare MRI cases to be interpreted.
+ Facilitate communication between Technologists and Radiologist.
+ Load images and prepare for BCC conference.
+ Audit logbooks to ensure incomplete cases are completed in a timely manner.
+ Review annotated images and print accurately for callback appointments ensuring size quantity and images are accurate.
+ Process charts for pathology of procedures daily.
+ Contact BCC with procedure results.
+ High intensity patient flow must be compassionate and able to manage stressful situations.
+ Subject to assist in different areas of the breast imaging department.
+ Cross coverage for PS Assistant and Associate roles
+ All other duties assigned.
**Required Qualifications***
+ High school diploma or GED prior experience performing complex scheduling exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
+ Communicates effectively.
+ Demonstrates active listening written verbal and information technology skills.
+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical setting.
+ Demonstrated excellent attendance.
+ Expected to be proficient in identifying problems, seeking, and implementing solutions.
**Desired Qualifications***
+ Working knowledge of medical terminology; 3-4 years' experience in a public contact setting; Responsible office experience required, preferable in a medical setting.
+ Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
**Work Schedule**
Monday - Friday/Occasional Saturdays/ Days/40 hours per week
