Job Description:
What You’ll Do:
+ Provide a welcoming and friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience.
+ Perform receptionist, registration, and clerical duties to support patient care .
+ Schedule appointments using computerized scheduling programs.
+ Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
+ Process payments, including co-pays and deductibles, and refer patients to financial counselors when necessary.
+ Ensure timely and accurate entry of patient demographic, billing, and clinical information.
+ Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask in a busy medical office setting.
+ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems is preferred .
+ Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorization processes is a plus.
+ A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
