Patient Services Representative Lead

Starting pay is 20.42 per hour or higher depending on years of experience.

Practice and Culture

This position will be a lead for schedulers at 6 community cancer centers acting as a subject matter expert on scheduling workflows and providing training to staff that are involved in provider scheduling such as Patient Service Representatives, Medical Assistants. This position is for experienced patient schedulers with a mastery of Epic. Emphasis on problem solving and process improvement to improve patient experience and team member efficiency.

Job Summary

Organizes and directs day-to-day clerical function in the delivery of quality health care services. Provides leadership and guidance to clerical staff.

Essential Functions

Leads team in workflow processes and may provide input to performance feedback process if/when necessary.

Problem-solves for other Patient Service Representatives and clerical support staff in department/practice.

Serves as main point of contact for Providers in identifying and addressing operational issues.

Oversees and manages productivity, performance and quality metrics.

Possesses the ability to perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate, Intermediate and Senior roles when necessary.

Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

10 years of relevant experience typically gained through skills/ knowledge / abilities of related experience
