Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist in the medical devices industry. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves key responsibilities within our dynamic team, focusing on the maintenance and coordination of our diagnostic devices.
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately entering and processing new patient information in our internal system and Salesforce.
• Initializing devices for each patient using our internal system.
• Managing additional paperwork for each device as per customer requirements.
• Creating shipping labels with high accuracy.
• Uploading reports to the system as needed.
• Tracking and maintaining deliveries to and from patients.
• Responding to general phone or email inquiries from sleep clinics.
• Assisting in scheduling and tracking patients and devices as required.
• Identifying and resolving issues that could delay material delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Supporting a large volume of accounts with a detail-oriented approach.
• Performing other supporting tasks as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the medical devices industry.
• Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience in providing administrative assistance in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of patient care procedures.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using medical software and technology.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• High level of patience and empathy to deal with individuals in need.
• A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
