This position schedules, checks-in and screens patients for the Cancer Genetics program.  Inputs all data required for accurate scheduling to ensure exams get scheduled and enough information is obtained to get pre authorization.  Manages provider schedules and charts.  Manages provider schedules and is main point of communication for vendors.

Required Qualifications:

Experience/background in patient scheduling (inpatient or outpatient) and a combination of education and directly related work experience in health care, ICD coding, medical terminology and understanding of insurance information
