POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs tasks related to the quality of the patient’s environment, including: cleaning function of an assigned area, stocking of supplies, and the transporting of patients, supplies, specimens and equipment.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
High School graduate or equivalent desired. GENERAL PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:
Adheres to established hospital policy and procedure related to job function.Adheres to hospital infection control policies.Utilizes appropriate safety measures to protect self, patient and staff.Communicates effectively with all levels of staff, patients and families.Utilizes Material Safety Data Sheets within the service.Maintains confidentiality related to patients, staff and visitors.Participates in Performance Improvement activities.Performs quality control and quality assurance activities as directed by the Unit Manager.Remains readily available to assist the oncology/infusion operating room staff and PACU staff with patient care needs.Cooperates with other staff to insure a safe, clean environment.Train new staff to role.Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.90
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
