Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for moving patients to various locations throughout the hospital.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Assisting patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs or stretchers. <br>
-Transporting patients to various locations in the hospital for medical procedures. <br>
-Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit. <br>
-Monitoring the scheduling system for transport requests and completing them promptly. <br>
-Delivering laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail. <br>

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Customer Service Experience 0-1 year required and Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable time-management and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to complete the physical tasks of the job including independently lifting 50 pounds.
