From the moment an emergency medical situation occurs, we are ready to help with the highest level of children’s medical care possible. Helen Devos Children’s Hospital is a Level I trauma center. While we treat minor illnesses and injuries, we are also prepared with a pediatric trauma care team that provides care for severe injuries. We’re proud to have the only pediatric emergency department in West Michigan, which is designed specifically for children and staffed by experts in pediatric emergency medicine. Recognized as experts in pediatric trauma and burn care with specially trained physicians and nurses available 24 hours a day to care for unexpected or severe injuries.

Scope of work 

Transports all patient populations to and from examinations and treatments. Performs general errands and other routine duties including cleaning equipment, securing supplies, and other tasks as required. Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care. Adheres to unit procedures wherever transport services rendered

Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday

Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Thursday

Week 3: Monday, Thursday, Friday

Qualifications

Hight School Diploma or equivalent RequiredAHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
