Responsibilities The Transporter will perform a variety of activities related to the transportation of patients, specimens and equipment. They will greet as well as assist patients, and visitors at hospital and clinics as directed. Qualifications Job Requirements: Physically able to transport patients by wheel chairs, stretchers and/or beds Ability to work independently utilizing a beeper Must be able to stand for long periods of time Heavy pulling, pushing and lifting are required (50lbs or more) Preferred Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
