**The Department & Team**
The Technical Development team drives innovation and creativity in the product development. We are responsible for the end-to-end technical process, from initial concept to final garment, the team ensures high-quality standards and product excellence while meeting company and divisional KPIs.
By closely collaborating with key stakeholders—including Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and global teams—the team plays a vital role in delivering the brand's DNA.
**The Position**
The pattern cutter is knowledgeable in pattern cutting and technical development of apparel. Responsible for the amending patterns, draping and maintenance of any pattern block libraries.
Collaborate closely with design, atelier team, and product development to interpret sketches, create runway collections, understand market needs and achieve shared deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Research & development
+ Developing patterns using the Gerber system, from initial handover stage through to production approval
+ Responsible for participating in fit meetings including capturing comments, changes & updating patterns accordingly.
+ Digitize paper patterns, adding annotations and seam allowances and preparing for factory send outs.
+ Assist technical /development team with cross checking a style’s pattern, spec and tech pack to ensure all information given to vendors is accurate and aligned.
+ Preparing patterns and specifications for vendors, generating pattern measurements in our PLM system.
+ Information maintenance/data integrity: ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data in PLM where needed
+ Creating mock-up & toiling where needed
+ Adhere to critical path, both internally and externally to support the development and production of the collection achieving on time for delivery at all stages of the process
+ Liaising and collaborate with PVH overseas offices to ensure sampling is correct to pattern and construction requirements.
+ Work with the technical manager to ensure toils and mock-ups are ready on time for reviews.
+ Ad hoc tasks such as sample organizing, meeting preparation, analysis, and reporting
**The Ideal Candidate:**
+ 2- 4 years of experience in pattern cutting
+ A bachelor/ master’s degree in fashion, garment technology, pattern cutting or equivalent experience in fashion, clothing or textiles industry
+ Experience developing patterns across womenswear and menswear
+ Runway experience is preferable.
+ Working knowledge of Gerber & Adobe suit
+ Basic grading knowledge and understanding of grade charts is desirable
+ Effective communication skills: inclusive team player, interdepartmental collaboration
+ Highly organised with great attention to detail and analytical ability.
+ Ability to solve straight forward problems following standard procedures
+ Able to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach
+ Flexibility required at peak times to manage workload
+ Self-driven, pragmatic, and business mind set

+ Good command of written & spoken English
