The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting design sketches, operating machinery and hand tools to build molds, and working closely with engineers to understand designs. Additional duties include conducting fittings and adjustments on prototypes, maintaining accurate records of each pattern, and ensuring the final pattern is practical for production. Our work focuses on foundries, specifically for aerospace and defense products. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret design sketches to understand product requirements. + Operate machinery and hand tools to build molds. + Operate drill press, grinder, manual mills, and lathes. + Work with engineers to understand designs. + Conduct fittings and adjustments on prototypes. + Maintain accurate records of each pattern for future use. + Ensure the final pattern is practical and can be used efficiently in production. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Experience with castings and mold design. + Ability to perform mold repair. + Blueprint reading. + Machining skills. + Experience with drill press and manual mill. + Foundry experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Willingness to learn and develop skills in pattern making. + Attention to detail. + Good communication skills. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to develop your skills in pattern making within a supportive and collaborative environment.
