Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paychex Agency Specialist I (Tier II) in Rochester, New York. In the Payroll Services industry, this role is critical for maintaining client relationships, handling inquiries, and ensuring accurate account management. The workplace is dynamic and requires an individual who is adept at balancing multiple tasks and is detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer service and support for both internal and external clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Accurately process all documentation related to the setup and maintenance of client accounts.
• Utilize the HRIS system and other software applications to respond to client inquiries.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clients' financial and insurance transactions.
• Establish, manage, and maintain a positive and detail oriented relationship with insurance carriers and all internal and external partners.
• Respond to inbound calls and place outbound calls as required by the business unit.
• Maintain accurate recording of all internal and external communications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance agencies as well as our insurance partners.
• Participate in product-related projects and training sessions as required.
• Use strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage workload and maintain detail oriented communications. Requirements • Possess strong customer service skills with a proven ability to handle client inquiries and concerns
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary
• Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Experience in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented and courteous manner
• Knowledge of insurance and billing procedures is required
• Proficiency in navigating and managing websites
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial duties as required
• Experience in working with partners and managing client relations
• Strong research and analysis skills, with a knack for problem-solving
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Familiarity with health insurance policies and procedures
• Experience in working within a business unit, understanding its unique requirements and goals
• Proficiency in HRIS systems is a must
• Proven ability in problem resolution, providing effective solutions in a timely manner
• Experience in leading or participating in training sessions
• Knowledge in A Plus software application is an advantage
• Experience in liaising with insurance carriers, ensuring effective communication
• Ability to manage both internal and external communication effectively
• Experience in COBRA administration is highly desirable
• Proficiency in data input, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external partners
• Proficiency in multiple software applications related to payroll services.
