Payer Maintenance Coordinator

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Payer Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. As a Payer Maintenance Coordinator, you will be part of the Revenue Cycle Services supporting various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong written and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a quality-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**What's the Job?**
+ Update contract status, rates, and criteria within all relevant systems.
+ Complete payer maintenance processes to ensure proper updates within internal systems and external partners.
+ Collaborate with Quality and Audit teams on SOX controls and ensure timely completion of all steps.
+ Review insurance contracts and communicate their impact on revenue recognition.
+ Participate in discussions with Finance and Accounting teams regarding changes in rates and payer contracts.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma required.
+ Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience with health insurance and billing operations.
+ Significant knowledge of regulatory and payer requirements for reimbursement.
+ Strong command of health insurance reimbursement and claim adjudication processes.
+ Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
