Job Description
Manufactures data servers for a well-known large distribution company. This is a stable, long-term business opportunity in a clean, mostly temperature-controlled facility. The production floor is metal-free, and employees are required to wear composite shoes starting from day one. The Production Specialist-1 role involves various positions within the facility, including warehouse, assembly, and testing. Available shifts are 1st or 2nd.
ResponsibilitiesProduction Specialist-Materials: Receive products, remove from boxes and plastic wrapping, and place them into a corrugator to break down boxes. Label products and place them in proper bins for the 'supermarket'. Utilize scanners and computers, specifically Excel. Comfortable moving into different roles and being cross-trained as needed.Production Specialist-Mechanical Assembly: Work at one of nine specific stations along an assembly line. Use an electric screwdriver weighing about 5lbs. Follow pictures and work instructions to complete assembly tasks, rotating stations to learn different parts of the process.Production Specialist-Rack Assembly: Assemble racks using an electric screwdriver for servers. Each server weighs about 40lbs but a tool is available to lift and place servers, minimizing heavy lifting. Label and place cables according to work instructions. Training provided, no previous experience required.
