We are seeking a Payment Operations Manager to support, optimize, and scale our strategic partnerships. Within our Payments and Financial Services organization at eBay, you will be in the front line of innovation while helping deliver business value through the current, evolving, and future partnerships. Your role will be critical in deeply understanding the payments landscape, assessing trends and potential opportunities to expand capabilities through partnerships, manage partner initiatives, critical issues, and growth opportunities.
Successful candidates will be highly organized individuals with strong technical acumen, keen ability to navigate multiple moving pieces to drive projects, a knack for problem solving through teamwork, and passion for creating order. You have excellent project management and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in understanding payments technologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects and work streams, drive follow-ups and deliverables across internal and external cross functional teams, identify and implement process improvements to optimize and scale the day-to-day strategic relationships.Understand technical aspects of integrations/solutions and payments risk implications and act as connector/influencer to different key collaborators across eBay and strategic partners.Drive projects and roadmap deliverables, action items and follow-ups, ensure execution and delivery of joint initiatives, identify and resolve issues and friction points.Create regular and streamlined communication cadences with partners, centralize reporting and accountability.Actively handle partner issues, monitor key performance metrics and support regular reporting across eBay partners and leadership.Coordinate/organize/support working sessions, key meetings, and quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to align on upcoming opportunities.Experience Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in product management, partner integrations, payment operations or project management with an acquirer, payment processor or payment network.3+ years’ experience in online payments, ecommerce, or marketplaces industry specifically.Ability to make actionable recommendations, and quickly build consensus.Self-starter, with an eye for detail, and real passion for delivering on business goals.Highly analytical, and data driven, but also a creative and empirical problem solver.Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.BA/BS required, MBA a plus.Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.
