YOUR MISSION

Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store in their city delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.

In order for us to do this in a reliable fashion, we are looking for a talented Senior Fraud Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join our rapidly growing Fintech & Risk team within Glovo. We are constantly developing new techniques to detect and counter fraudulent and malicious actors who are constantly developing new techniques to abuse our platform. You’ll be working alongside our engineering and product team to constantly drive us to innovate while we shape the vision for the team.

 

THE JOURNEY

Work with a team of (Sr/Lead) Fintech Analysts to shape the future of Glovo Fintech from the ground up by building and launching new products (e.g. lending, wallet, BNPL etc)

Design key metrics to measure the performance of Glovo Fintech and create and maintain aggregate views and dashboards to visualize insights.

Identify Fintech growth opportunities to increase Glovo user base, step change retention rates and maximize business profitability.

Investigate, analyze, and understand fraud & credit losses using statistical tools and on-the-ground research.

Propose solutions to minimize the risk of fraud and manage fraud detection tools, while creating rules and analyzing fraud patterns.

Implement experimentations (e.g. A/B test) to mitigate fraud loss rate and customer experience.

Help improve Machine Learning models accuracy and efficiency.

Understand business needs and create insightful analysis to enable the leadership teams to answer their needs. Write queries and perform ad hoc data analysis to keep the nerve center of our operations engine running at full speed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

1-2 years of experience in a similar role (2-5 years for Sr Fintech Analyst).

BS/BA or higher degree in a quantitative field, computer science, engineering or extensive experience in operations management.

Outstanding English speaking and writing skills (internal work language).

Experience in SQL with the ability to analyze large quantities of data using statistical analysis tools such as Python, and working with modern BI tools like Tableau or Looker.

Experience in identifying gaps in business strategy, with a focus on Fintech.

Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills with a bias toward action and a get things done attitude.

Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the teams.
