Payments Administrator, Accounts Payable
Reporting to the Payments Team Lead, the Payments Administrator performs duties to ensure the accurate processing of vendor payments. In this this role you will collaborate with the Accounts Payable (AP) and Treasury teams to support account reconciliations, respond to audit requests and maintain accurate payment records. As the Payments Administrator you ensure compliance with all applicable legislative requirements while solving a range of straightforward, day-to-day issues and assessing potential solutions using standard procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Process vendor payments weekly and as per ad-hoc requests using in-house ERP systems (JDE) and various bank portalsEnsure timely payment of all invoices to avoid late fees or penaltiesCollaborate with AP, Treasury, and Finance Operations to resolve invoice or payment discrepanciesReconcile payment records and bank statements regularly to ensure accurate financial recordsRespond promptly and professionally to stakeholder inquiries regarding payment status and discrepanciesManage payment-related inquiries in ServiceNow while delivering excellent customer serviceBuild strong vendor relationships to support seamless payment operations and resolve issues efficientlyIdentify opportunities for process improvements, including streamlining and automation, to enhance accuracy and efficiencySupport with the preparation of annual data reports and analysis as requested on an ad-hoc basis

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounts Payable (AP), or Payment Administration.Proficient in using ERP software and payment processing systems.Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently when needed.

Compensation

   $43,200 - $59,400 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
