If you're passionate about delivering quality service and thrive in a supportive, growth-oriented environment, let's connect to discuss this Payments and Fintech Banking Officer opportunity! **Objective of Position** : The Payments and Fintech Banking Officer is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, managing, and growing a client portfolio targeting large fee and deposit relationships with payment processors and Fintechs across the United States. This role develops connections with Third Party Payment Processors and Embedded Payment relationships and partners with internal stakeholders to onboard and monitor Payments and Fintech Banking client **Duties and Responsibilities** **:** + Develop and maintain Payments and Fintech portfolio by retaining and expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers across the United States. + Manage relationships for Third Party Payment Processors and partner with the Fintech banking team on key strategic relationships. + Develop and maintain senior and executive relationship contacts with key strategic customers. + Responsible to maintain subject matter expertise, including expertise in regulatory and risk management requirements and treasury management, and keep abreast of changing business and economic developments which may impact the Payments and Fintech Banking division. + Build relationships with appropriate trade associations and other external stakeholders. + Collect and analyze financial risk, compliance, legal, regulatory, and related data to determine the general risks of the prospect and whether it aligns with Bylines Risk Acceptance Criteria. + Establish, and negotiate where necessary, the terms under which a relationship or partnership will be extended, including the costs, account/legal structure, and risk framework requirements, in accordance with Byline policies. + Participate in community affairs to increase the Bank's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities. + Develop strong business relationship with customers including contacting new and potential on a regular cadence. + Monitors exception reports to ensure proper documentation is being maintained. + Understands and adhere to bank policies and bank regulations. + Keeps abreast of changing business and economic developments which impact the portfolio and its profitability. + All other duties as assigned. _Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time._ **Qualifications** **:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field. + 3+ years of banking experience in Third Party Payment Processing and Embedded Payments. + Solid understanding of business, with particular emphasis on financial technology companies. + Ability to verbally communicate with others and effectively write correspondence. + Strong business relationship development, sales, and underwriting skills are required. + Hands on working knowledge and experience in payments, product, and risk analysis. + Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish relationships. + Strong understanding of industry trends and developments. + Strong persuasive and negotiation skills. + Be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop, communicate and implement plans that support the overall goals of the Bank. + Be recognized as a strategic thinker and creative problem solver. + Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. + Be self-motivated and an effective time and project manager with a strong attention to detail. + Have strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities. + Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects, and implement high quality solutions. + Demonstrate strong organizational skills and analytical skills with the ability to directly manage and communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies. + Possess strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. + Ability to comply with bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. **Physical Demands/Work Environment:** Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process. **Compensation & Benefits:** Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels. The salary range for this position is between $104,000 to $130,000. In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs.
