We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the JPMorgan Payments Marketing organization. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the product marketing strategy.
As a Payments Product Marketing Director within the Technology & Innovation pillar, you will have an understanding of strategy, product positioning, value proposition alignment, and roadmap planning, as well as the ability to effectively manage the execution of marketing tactics. You will bring a mix of product marketing expertise, combined with demonstrated success in people and stakeholder management.
Job responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and growing focus on technologists. Lead and mentor a team of product marketing managers and ICs, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enable their professional growth and success. Drive an emerging payments and product innovation agenda and roadmap, including segmentation, product positioning, and GTM efforts. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and regional marketing teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring buy-in for product marketing strategies and initiatives. Organize and project manage to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines, executing complex marketing initiatives from inception to completion. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product capabilities, market trends, and customer needs. Define and articulate compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for our products, ensuring they resonate with audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the operating model within the product marketing function, including optimizing processes, establishing KPIs, and implementing processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve team effectiveness. Work closely with brand, integrated, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, positioning, and marketing activities.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
12+ years of experience in product marketing with a proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies. Strong leadership skills with experience leading and managing a team of product marketers. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Highly attentive to detail and ability to identify unique areas of opportunity from customer insights. Analytical mindset with a strong ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing efforts. Proven ability to collaborate effectively and harmoniously with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
