Job Requirements (Experience & Qualification)
Matric/Grade12NQF LEVEL 7 Degree, Advance Diploma or postgraduate certificateRegulatory Examination (RE3 – 5 years General Experience 1 year required in financial service industry (banking or insurance).Preference with experience in short term claims account payable rolesAuthorises payments to clients/authorities using online and in-house payment systems. Works according to a set process and standards. Ensures controls are applied in line with audit and financial requirements. Responds to immediate requirements within procedures. May include administration at a senior level.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Needs Clarification
Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization; and ask relevant questions to gather information, to evaluate the customer's level of interest, and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
Financial Products DevelopmentDefine, deliver, and adapt specialized financial products that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
Solutions AnalysisInterpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents.
Customer ServiceAct as first-line supervisor of a team providing customer service support, and play a key role in helping to achieve targets in areas such as productivity or turnaround times. Deal with most complex and valuable issues.
Information and Business AdviceResolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
Data Collection and AnalysisCollate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
Operational ComplianceIdentify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Cash ManagementConduct routine tasks in cash management based on the organization's established protocols, such as assisting in cash flow forecasting.
Credit Control and CollectionsAnalyze aged debtor data and identify root causes of delays in cash collections, taking appropriate action to resolve outstanding payments and referring complex or contentious issues to line management.
