Job Description A large retail company in Cincinnati Ohio is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their Payment Point of Sale team for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. This person will be involved in the buildout of the client's new Point of Sale platform which will be modernizing the purchasing experience for over 11million people. The Architect will be joining a team of 8 other Architects and a larger team of 200 people supporting this project and will need to be comfortable participating in the application technical design process. Experience with, and an understanding of, how an entire system scales is imperative to the success of this individual as this person will be involved in the enhancement, total replacement and scaling of a payment system. They will need a strong integration background in messaging and designing B2B integrations, and come from a strong software engineering background. The Architect will need to have an eagerness to learn, adapt and communicate with others.
