Payor NAM Commercial Iselin, New Jersey Apply Description Main Responsibilities: Market Access Strategy: Develop and implement market access strategies to ensure that Helsinn’s products are accessible to patients and reimbursed efficiently by payers. Payer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at insurance companies, PBMs, and other relevant organizations to facilitate Helsinn’s product access and reimbursement. Formulary & Reimbursement Negotiation: Lead the negotiation process with payers to secure favorable formulary positioning, pricing, and reimbursement terms for Helsinn’s products. Reimbursement Support: Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in navigating the reimbursement process, including addressing coverage issues and facilitating patient access to Helsinn’s products. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze reimbursement trends, formularies, and market access metrics to inform strategic decisions and track the success of market access initiatives. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all market access strategies and tactics comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., CMS, FDA, HIPAA). Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, regulatory, and medical affairs, to align market access strategies with overall business objectives. Stakeholder Education: Educate internal teams on payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and market access challenges to ensure a unified approach to product access. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or a related field; master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in market access, payer relations, reimbursement, or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry. Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement landscape, including formulary management, pricing strategies, and payer policies. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. Certifications: Relevant certifications in market access, healthcare reimbursement, or related areas are a plus.
