Your New Role:
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a dedicate Payroll Analyst to join the Global Business Services People and Culture Shared Services Payroll Department. The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of biweekly mexican payroll, complying with all applicable labor and tax regulations in Mexico. This role requires a strong focus on managing payroll incidents, deductions, and employee payments in a high-volume service-oriented company.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Payroll Processing
Accurately calculate, validate, and process biweekly payroll on time.Ensure correct application of earnings and deductions per company policies and legal requirements.Upload and validate payroll incidents such as absences, leaves, vacation pay, bonuses, and incentives.Generate and review payroll receipts before CFDI (Digital Tax Receipts) stamping.Coordinate with the accounting team for payroll reconciliation and provisions.Legal and Tax Compliance
Calculate and pay social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT).Withhold and properly report income tax (ISR) per Mexico's tax laws.Manage employment subsidy and annual tax adjustments.Prepare and submit tax reports and declarations to the SAT and other regulatory authorities.Incident Management and Administrative Control
Manage employee registrations, terminations, and salary modifications with the IMSS through SUA and IDSE.Oversee employment contracts, severance payments, and settlements according to labor law.Reconcile payroll information with accounting and banking reports.Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.Employee Support and Internal Team Collaboration
Provide friendly, timely, and accurate payroll-related support to employees.Address employee inquiries about payments, deductions, taxes, and benefits with a strong customer service approach.Assist in internal and external audits by providing clear and structured payroll information.Read and draft emails and reports in English for payroll communications.Qualifications & Experience…
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or administration.At least 3 years of experience in biweekly payroll processing in service companies.Advanced knowledge of SUA, IDSE, CFDI payroll, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.Experience with payroll systems (NOMIPAQ, NOI, SAP, Workday, TRESS, Kronos, etc.).Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations related to payroll.Expertise in ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and labor and tax compliance.Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, advanced formulas).Experience reconciling payroll payments with accounting and banking systems.English proficiency required (reading and writing emails and reports).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and reports.Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines.Analytical skills to identify errors and improve processes.Effective communication skills and a professional, respectful approach to employees and internal teams.How We Get Things Done…
