Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Accountant in Sterling, VA. Duties Include: * Payroll Accountant will process payroll for over 2,000 employees across 35-40 states using ADP Workforce Now * Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax regulations, including garnishments and tax withholdings * Review and process employee travel and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies (Chrome River experience preferred) * Verify the accurate posting of payroll entries to the General Ledger (GL) and assist with payroll reconciliations * Identify areas for process improvement and help implement more efficient payroll and T&E procedures * Support the Payroll and T&E Managers in daily operations and assist with special projects as needed * As a Payroll Accountant, you will collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies and ensure payroll compliance * Maintain meticulous records and ensure back-end payroll processes are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws
