Payroll Administrator
Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the a rapidly growing industry, located in Bedminster, New Jersey. The primary function of this role is to support a dynamic team in a variety of clerical duties relating to payroll. This includes responsibilities such as data entry, reconciliation of timecards, and paycheck distribution. Responsibilities: • Provide support to the Payroll department in various clerical duties • Responsible for data entry related to payroll • Reconcile timecards to ensure accurate payroll processing • Distribute paychecks to the appropriate departments • Communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers • Handle full cycle payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now • Utilize Excel Formulas for efficient data processing and reporting • Resolve any payroll discrepancies and answer employee's payroll queries. Requirements • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in a Payroll Administrator role within the banking industry. • Proficiency in the use of payroll software, specifically ADP Workforce Now. • Strong knowledge of full cycle payroll processes, including but not limited to preparing, managing and processing payrolls. • Proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of Excel formulas. • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. • Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations. • Ability to handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with other departments and staff members. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest payroll trends, techniques, and best practices.
