Payroll Administrator

Job Overview:

Primoris Renewable Energy is searching for a qualified Payroll Administrator in the Denver, CO or Dallas, TX area.  Location is in office, remote option of two days from home after six months of employment. The Payroll Administrator will perform various accounting and clerical tasks such as filing, typing, verifying mathematical accuracy, assigning distribution codes, balancing, etc.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process weekly payroll for large volume of employees. Review and calculate payments. Assist with entering time. Enter PTO, Per Diem, retro pay, late time, and pay adjustments. Complete verifications of employment from creditors. Scan and index payroll documents into pVault. Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Other special and/or month-end projects may be assigned by the Payroll Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 0-2 years’ administrative experience, preferably in Payroll Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative. Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work an early start time on Monday - 5:00 or 6:00 AM

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Viewpoint software a plus but not required.
