Payroll Administrator
Description We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll information accuracy, coordinating with HR for changes in payroll, and processing various payroll-related transactions. Responsibilities • Review and validate payroll information for accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with the HR department for updates in payroll including terminations, new hires, and promotions. • Oversee the distribution of bi-weekly payments and manage payroll through Paylocity. • Facilitate bi-weekly and monthly payroll-related general ledger transactions. • Update payroll data with necessary salary or wage adjustments. • Process other financial compensations or deductions such as annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, and workers' compensation. • Prepare and review monthly benefit expenses, including insurance fees and paid leave. • Address employee questions or complaints about salaries and payments in a timely manner. • Provide payroll analysis as requested by senior management team members. • Coordinate with authorities on audits or requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations. • Use accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports to manage and analyze payroll data effectively. Skills • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Crystal Reports. • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Benefit Functions, Paylocity, MS Dynamics AX. Requirements • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role for at least 5 years. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now. • Experience in using Ceridian, Crystal Reports, and About Time. • Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration. • Ability to perform Accounting Functions and Auditing. • Understanding of Benefit Functions and ability to use Paylocity. • Experience in using MS Dynamics AX is preferable. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or relevant field. • Strong numerical and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in payroll administration. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
