Position Summary:
An industry leader in the live entertainment industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with the Controller and be promoted internally.
Responsibilities:
Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, salaries, benefits, and deductions.Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other pay adjustments based on company policies and applicable laws.Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit notifications.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and discrepancies..Reconcile payroll reports and prepare documentation for audits.Manage and administer benefits deductions, garnishments, and other withholdings.Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.Qualifications:
