Payroll Administrator
Description We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in the Government sector based in Rialto, California. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll systems, maintaining accurate records, and handling various accounting functions. Responsibilities • Manage and oversee payroll systems such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Oracle PeopleSoft to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. • Maintain accurate records of employee data, payroll transactions, and payroll deductions. • Use Crystal Reports to create and present detailed, accurate payroll reports. • Handle 401k - RRSP Administration, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. • Perform various accounting functions to support the financial operations of the organization. • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of payroll data and rectify any discrepancies. • Manage 'About Time' software to track and manage employee work hours. • Handle Benefit Functions, ensuring employees receive the correct benefits and deductions are accurately processed. • Resolve any payroll-related issues or inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a related role. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience in using ADP - Financial Services is necessary. • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is highly desirable. • Knowledge of Ceridian software is an added advantage. • Ability to use Crystal Reports is expected. • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is a plus. • Prior usage of About Time software will be beneficial. • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required. • Experience in Auditing is highly desirable. • Knowledge in Benefit Functions is expected. • Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft is an added advantage.
