Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry, located in Morris Plains, New Jersey, United States. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be entrusted with the task of maintaining and auditing payroll records, managing accounting functions, and handling employee inquiries. Responsibilities: • Managing payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement • Handling multi-state payroll, adhering to respective state laws and regulations • Utilizing Ceridian Dayforce effectively for payroll management • Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy of payroll data • Addressing any payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolving them efficiently • Processing payroll garnishments as per legal requirements • Managing union-related payroll matters • Overseeing accounting functions related to payroll • Administering benefits functions in alignment with the payroll system • Proficient in Excel for payroll calculations and reporting.
