Description We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Irvine, California, United States. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, handling payroll and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and responding to inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our Accounting Group, contributing to the production of accurate and timely financial statements. Responsibilities: • Handle various payroll tasks such as processing payroll, handling wage garnishments, bonuses, manual pay, rate increases, and tax filings • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from the receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and ensuring invoices comply with contracts • Prepare and reconcile payroll journal and the general ledger regarding payroll and accounts payable transactions • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data • Prioritize vendor payments according to vendor terms and process payments in accordance with the company’s weekly schedule • Process internal expense reports and reconcile company credit card statements to employee expense report activity • Submit 401K, HSA to the vendor portal and assist in the preparation of 1099’s to independent contractors at year-end • Respond to inquiries regarding payroll and accounts payable issues • Assist in the month-end close process and annual audits • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
