Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Administrator to be a part of our team in Los Angeles, California. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be primarily tasked with the responsibility of handling multi-state payroll processing, managing compliance with all relevant regulations, and collaborating with other departments to improve payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now in processing payroll, generating reports, and updating tax filings.
• Oversee multi-state payroll management for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while managing payroll records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Accurately calculate and manage taxes, benefit deductions, garnishments, retirement contributions, and other payroll-related items.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and address employee payroll concerns.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies or issues proactively and address any employee concerns.
• Generate detailed reports on payroll-related data, such as taxes, headcount, and compensation trends, to support HR and finance teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in payroll processes and assist in implementing new procedures as needed.
• Conduct audits on payroll, verify deductions, and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now payroll software
• Demonstrated experience in multi-state payroll, managing employees in different states
• Familiarity with full-cycle payroll processes and procedures
• Proven track record of managing payroll for over 500 employees
• Ability to process bi-weekly payroll efficiently and accurately
