Payroll Advisor (Singapore market)Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to manage and oversee our Singapore payroll processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with local regulations, and provide excellent support to employees on payroll-related matters.Job Description
• Payroll Processing and Management: Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing by coordinating with Payroll Vendor (14th Pay Cycle)
• Compute staff remuneration and claims for leavers and other off-cycle payments
• Conduct thorough payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and other ad-hoc reports as required
Statutory Compliance:
• Manage prompt statutory submissions, including CPF contributions
• Handle year-end income declarations to the Tax Department
• Process tax clearance for foreign employees leaving the company
HRIS Management:
• Ensure payroll records in the HRIS are accurate and up-to-date for payroll processing
• Monitor and resolve integration errors between systems
Employee Support:
• Handle employee payroll inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Provide guidance on payroll-related matters to employees and management
Reporting and Analysis:
• Conduct monthly OED (Occupational Employment and Wage) Survey
• Generate and analyze various payroll reports as needed
Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
Ad-hoc Duties:
• Perform any other payroll-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, specifically in managing Singapore Payroll
• Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF requirements, and tax laws
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
