Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various payroll processing activities, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and work closely with management on audits and special projects.
ResponsibilitiesSupport weekly and biweekly Ad hoc payroll processingLoad supplemental pay file upon requestIdentify and resolve errors during processingValidate regression testing and coordinate through error resolutionSupport SAP file loadsHandle basic Ad hoc query requestsWork closely with management in preparation for compliance audits and other projects as neededEssential SkillsHigh school diploma and 4 years of related education (business or accounting) and/or relevant work experienceExperience with PAYROLL SAPProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Payroll processing experience, including relevant regulatory requirements, internal policy and procedure, accounting practices, and system software requirementsKnowledge of FLSA, federal and state lawsEffective communication skills both verbally and in writingStrong attention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work demands to meet critical deadlinesAbility to perform and understand basic payroll calculationsAbility to work well in a team environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designationPrior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environmentWork Environment
The work environment is a collaborative team setting where attention to detail and accuracy is crucial. The position requires the use of SAP for payroll processing and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The role may involve occasional tight deadlines and requires effective communication with management and team members.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
