Payroll Analyst
5 years’ experience working in a Payroll or Time & Attendance role. Excellent problem solving and analytic skills. The ability to work accurately with a strong and developed attention to details. Effective organisational skills to meet deadlines while working with a Payroll provider. Time management skills, aptitude to plan and prioritize own work to meet commitments aligned with department goals and priorities. High level of interpersonal skills including demonstrable customer focus and the ability to provide remote support to internal customers. FSS UK is an evolving department; therefore, flexibility and adaptability are required for this role. Strong team player skills. Experience in a high-volume transactional services environment. Data Protection Act awareness. Support Time & Attendance application for multiple US locations, including time collection & approval, payroll calculation, accruals, & attendance management. Provide Time & Attendance data and other payroll instructions for the outsourced payroll vendor to process. Supporting the weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly & monthly payrolls. Investigating any issues or errors and help rectify them within appropriate timescales Reconciling Time & Attendance system data with Payroll system data Producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports as required Requesting the payroll vendor to process employee off-cycle payments when required Participate in continuous improvement and process simplification activities Contribute to developing the Time & Attendance standard operating procedures (SOPs) Participate in Howmet Self-Assessment Test (ASAT) testing Support activities as and when required on other payrolls supported by the UK based payroll team.

This is a part-time position - 22 hours per week. Working days will be: Monday/Tuesday/Friday.
