Details: · Location: Baltimore, MD · Hybrid Work Schedule, 2 days per week On-site · Monday-Friday · 8am-5pm · Direct Placement (Permanent from Day 1) Necessary Skills · Must have 2+ years of payroll processing experience. · Must have analytical experience. · Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. · Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree is accepted . A day in the role… · Analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. · Conduct regular payroll audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. · Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits. · Prepare and submit detailed payroll reports to management and relevant authorities. · Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. · Assist with the preparation of year-end tax documents, such as W-2s and 1099s. · Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions. · Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. · Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. · Participate in payroll system upgrades and implementations.
