We're seeking a dynamic Payroll Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees in Costa Rica. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with local labor laws and regulations, providing exceptional support to employees, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Payroll Processing: Manage the full cycle of payroll, including data collection, validation, and processing. Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees. Compliance: Stay up to date with local labor laws and regulations. Ensure all payroll practices adhere to legal requirements. Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, benefits, and other HR matters. Provide timely and accurate information. Reporting: Generate accurate and timely payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. System Utilization: Effectively utilize payroll systems like SuccessFactors to optimize operations. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, Payroll provider, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills required
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, administration, or a related field is required (or in process), along with 3+ years of relevant CR payroll experience. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Skillful in listening and understanding employees' needs and concerns and communicating information concerning processes, policies, and procedures accurately and clearly. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. In-depth knowledge of country payroll legislation and its calculations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced in Excel. Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of ethical conduct, privacy and confidentiality, and professionalism. Excellent communication skills and customer service with the ability to work across geographies and cultures. Advanced Spanish and English is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced with Success Factors system. Knowledge of Mexican payroll laws and regulations (to support payroll team when needed)
