Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst who is well-versed in payroll processes and UKG module functionalities. The ideal candidate will prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly timecards accurately and on time, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Additionally, the role includes preparing regular payroll journal entries for vacation and temporary worker accruals, monitoring the payroll mailbox, and handling any related requests. This position requires strong familiarity with payroll best practices, the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and the capacity to assist with special projects and compliance audits as needed.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process weekly and bi-weekly timecards accurately and on time.Prepare regular payroll journal entries for vacation and temporary worker accruals.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.Monitor the payroll mailbox and respond to related requests.Prepare scheduled and ad hoc payroll reporting.Assist with special projects and department compliance audits as needed.Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Partner with the business to raise awareness of payroll best practices to meet deadlines.Essential SkillsExperience with UKG Dimensions in Kronos.Proficiency in Excel, including vlookup, hlookup, and pivot tables.Experience in the manufacturing industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience from a large and/or public company is highly preferred.Work Environment

This position is fully in office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM. The team consists of the Payroll Analyst, an accounting senior, and one offsite payroll person who is currently assisting with extra work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.80 - $50.43
