Description We are seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our team located in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves processing payroll transactions with precision and timeliness, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with tax and wage laws, among other duties. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive internal audits and prepare materials for external audits • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, including tax records • Process payroll transactions with precision and on schedule • Identify areas for improvement in processing and recommend effective solutions • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax and wage laws • Fulfill reporting requests and resolve issues in a detail-oriented and timely manner • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required • Assist in process improvement to keep up with the growth of the business • Perform clean up work as needed This is a permanent position that will pay up to $80,000 depending upon experience. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar role • Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration procedures. • Strong auditing skills with a keen eye for detail. • Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions. • Experience with Workday or similar payroll software is required. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Excellent mathematical and numerical skills. • Ability to handle confidential information. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
